Laura Sangas has been designing flowers for beautiful events and weddings for the last 15 years. Born and raised in Southern California, she moved to Santa Barbara where she received her Associates of Arts degree. While in college she owned and ran a flower stand....this is where her love for flowers first grew. She eventually got married, had a baby boy, Cody, and realized she wanted to learn more about the flower business, floral design, technique and ultimately create lush elegant arrangements. After working for a florist in Montecito, Cody Floral Design began and blossomed when she was asked by a friend to coordinate and arrange the flowers for her wedding. Laura loves to transform a location with warmth, color, texture and an abundance of illumination!

" Each event is different. It's like painting. You add the colors and textures to the canvas, in this case the setting, to evoke emotions", says Sangas. Her clientele has included Hollywood stars and corporate clients, including Estee Lauder and Giorgio Armani, along with Santa Barbara Locals and many destination brides.

"Weddings are a passion. The bride is the designer and I strive to create her vision. Incorporating all the ideas and concepts so that they meld together is an art". Laura's goal is always to exceed the couple's expectations and to give them"the wedding of their dreams".
